Understanding lifetime licenses, users, versions and permitted use.
Software is licensed
Purchasing software from Coppera Studio grants the usage rights associated with the specific license or entitlement purchased. Ownership of the underlying software and intellectual property remains with the software publisher or rights holder.
Lifetime License
Where a product is expressly identified as a Lifetime License, the customer makes a one-time payment for ongoing use of that purchased eligible version under its applicable license terms.
Future upgrades
Lifetime use of a purchased version does not automatically include every future major version, new edition, additional user or paid service unless the product listing explicitly says otherwise.
User and device limits
The number of permitted users, devices or installations is defined by the selected product configuration and applicable license terms. Additional users or installations may require an additional license.
Regional editions
Customers must select the correct regional edition where relevant. Tax, payroll, banking and other localized features can differ by country.
Restrictions
Customers may not unlawfully copy, distribute, sublicense, resell or otherwise use software outside the rights granted by the applicable license.
